Getting the most out of Creative conferencing

Objective:

BBL were brought in to help Creative Labs ensure that their annual European Distributor's Conference showcased new technology and motivated the audience ready for their the key pre-Christmas sales period.

Plan:

To run a two day event in an easily accessible European destination, with an inspirational theme and content based around “Expanding the Experience” that was reflected in all aspects of the event. In addition a discovery based exhibition was created allowing delegates to experience first hand the new technologies and products, while a gala dinner with full on entertainment meant motivation was high.

Event:

Taking the group to a five star venue in Marbella ensured the easy access that the European audience required. While the Expanded Experience meant that four fully themed breakout rooms had been created as a experiential product zones. In the main conference presentation use of bespoke futuristic video inserts kept the content fresh exciting and enjoyable! Having created such an amazing experience the press were invited to get that exclusive insight into what products were going to be hot for Christmas.

Success:

The event was hailed as a great success by enthusiastic delegates, who then went on to increase sales of the new product range in the vital pre-Christmas period. With the added benefit of getting a raft of positive press coverage as a bonus the cost of staging the event matched the return on investment.

Statistics:

  1. 80 press attended press event & exclusive dinner
  2. The gala dinner added a little extra to the event
    which surprised and delighted the delegates
  1. Sales were up 17% on the past year
  2. A great video insert of the of gala dinner was produced to use as opener for day 2 of the conference
